Our client for this apartment wanted us to design a luxurious space which reflects his high-end lifestyle but is at the same time a place his family can call ‘home.’ We decided to cover the entire living and dining space with herringbone wooden flooring topped with rich carpets. The overall palette is neutral, with a play of natural colours like ash grey, wood, and beige uplifted with pops of mustard yellow and metallic accents. To make the apartment feel expansive and allow for natural light ventilation, we went for an open plan design where the living room seamlessly blends into the dining area, which is an extension of the open kitchen. This allows all members of the family to feel connected while they use different spaces of their home.
We replaced the run-of-the-mill elongated dining table with this circular table, to giving the dining area a cosy look and feel. The vibrant colours and textures in this space, lined with French windows, make the dining area the family’s favourite place to come together and share their love for food and laughter.
The master bedroom of this apartment spells opulence. Inspired by Victorian era grandeur, we wanted our client to feel no less than royalty when their retire in their abode at the end of the day. The colour scheme of the master bedroom matches the rest of the house, making for an overall cohesive palette.
